Road Rage Performance VAQ Upgrade Flash Tool + Cable Bundle
Introducing the Haldex. Flash VAQ flash tool
As part of our progression into VAG Drivetrain control upgrades we have developed the worlds first VAQ flash tool for front wheel drive MQB Vehicles.
VAQ, or Vorderachsquersperre, is a torque sensing differential that improves cornering and power distribution in Volkswagen Audi group vehicles. It’s also known as Ediff or ELSD.
VAQ is a Haldex type clutch pack that locks the rotation of the left wheel to the right wheel, if it detects a wheel speed difference from either wheel it will engage the clutch pack, similar to how the all wheel drive Haldex system works.
We are in the process of engineering an enhanced software that can be applied using our flash tool.
In the mean time we have released a factory software upgrade utilizing the stock software from the later MQB cars such as the MK7 GOLF TCR and Clubsport models. These models had a revised calibration allowing better control and response of the VAQ system.
This upgrade applies to all MK7 Golf GTI Performance Pack models built from 2014 to 2017. Models after this already shipped with the latest software.
