Strut Mount Reinforcement Plate - BMW / E46 / 323i / 325i / 330i

The front strut towers on the E46 are known to be a structural weak point. To address this, reinforcement plates can be added to strengthen the strut mounting area by effectively layering additional metal onto the chassis. For most drivers running stock suspension at factory ride height, this usually isn’t a concern. However, issues tend to arise when using performance suspension setups. Stiffer components and worn shocks can transmit greater forces into the chassis, which may lead to the sheet metal deforming or lifting.
